Before obtaining a building quote, you or your contractor should check local zoning ordinances and codes that may regulate building design, usage, type, lot coverage, or set other standards.
Unless special credit arrangements have been made prior to placing your order, a 20% down payment is required with the order before your building is scheduled for design and production. The balance is due when the metal building is delivered to your job site.
Once we receive your order, we go to work with state of the art computer-aided design and drafting software to custom create your metal building system with all its components. Based on local codes supplied by you or your contractor, your metal building is engineered to meet or exceed the code design criteria.
Within two weeks after we receive your order, anchor bolt placement plans will be mailed to you. Unlike other manufacturers, Smith Steel provides your anchor bolts and they will be shipped to you with our compliments.
If you do not have a contractor, we will be happy to recommend one in your area. Your contractor can guide you in making arrangements for building permits needed for your area, site preparation and the rest of your construction needs.
When your building is delivered, all the parts for your metal building will be on the truck, along with drawings and installation guides, to minimize assembly time and save you money.
